Ciao Alessandro! I am writing to try to tell you how very happy we were with our delicious and fun dinners at Villa Il Poggio with Pablo as our chef. Every dish was lovingly prepared, tasty and beautifully presented- we could not have asked for a better experience. Well done to you, Pablo and the Tuscan Chef team! Our favorites include the Duck Porchetta style, stuffed zucchini flowers and the hazelnut chocolate dolce. Our cooking class was fun! Each one of us participated and learned skills we can take home and use again. Of course the meal was delicious, as well. There is not a thing that I could suggest to change to make the experience better as it is THE BEST already! Your company has done a wonderful job and I have already recommended you in my review of the Villa.

We've attended in the last week of May 3 cooking classes with Alessandro. It was a super marveless experience. Alessandro is besides, a very good cook, a very pleasent person to be with and he can explain everything in a understandable way. We can absolutely recommend this cooking classes. Best Dinner in Tuscany
All I can say is Wow! The Tuscan Chef is fantastically good. Our chef, Giancarlo, was not only a great chef, who cooked us an amazing dinner, but he was also so warm and funny, telling us stories behind each dish, including about his own sourdough starter that he used to make focaccia. We could tell he used the freshest ingredients, and the dishes were simple and classic, with just enough complexity to make them really interesting and delicious. It was one of the best meals we had in Tuscany, and the fact that he came to our villa to cook for us personally, made it very special. If you're renting in Tuscany, please do book a dinner with one of the chefs from Tuscan Chef. It will be memorable!

Family Cooking Lesson
On a recent visit to Tuscany we had an incredible experience learning how to cook an authentic Italian meal at the Tuscan Chef Kitchen set in a beautiful little village. Our family of 7 included three children ages 4, 6, 8 and 4 adults and we all participated in cooking a three course meal including a delicious dessert at the end. Chef Giancarlo guided us through all of the preparation and really made all of us, especially the children, feel like special chefs. We were even given aprons to take home as souvenirs and copies of all of the recipes that we made. Our trip to Italy is over now, but our memories of the meal that we prepared and shared together will last a lifetime. Thank you to Alessandro Piccinini and Giancarlo!

Review
In June 22 I took a cooking glass with the Tuscan Chef. It was combined with a truffle hunting excursion before the class. I had a great time, both truffle hunting and cooking. The truffle hunting was much more educational than I was expecting so I happily learned a lot about the industry in Tuscany. Our truffle hunter came from a family of truffle hunters who have passed the vocation down over generations… and we found truffles thanks to him and his truffle dog?. I joined a group of six couples from Brazil and a newlywed couple from San Francisco for the cooking class, which was led by Pablo, at the Tuscan Chef Little Kitchen in Montisi. The group was REALLY fun and Pablo made sure we had a good time cooking, plenty of yummy Prosecco, and a delicious meal - my best meal in Italy! We made Tagliolini with Truffle, Truffle Eggs, and Tiramisu… I thought I didn’t like Tiramisu but loved what we made! This experience was a highlight of my month travelling around Italy and I would highly recommend it.

Alessandro/Tuscan Chef
Our group of 12 rented a beautiful villa near Siena, and definitely at the top of our highlights - our magnificent dinner prepared in our villa by Alessandro. So easy to communicate with, even after 2.5 years of pandemic rescheduling! He showed up with all of the fresh ingredients, prepared the food, set our beautiful table, and cleaned up the dishes to boot! The meal was beyond all of our expectations, and the chef and his assistant were a joy to have in our kitchen (really it was their kitchen as they cook there all the time)! Our only regret was we didn't schedule them for a 2nd night of dinner. Could not recommend them more for your next trip to Tuscany!

Terrific Truffle Day
What a great day with Pablo from Tuscan Chef. First a truffle hunt and then a super cooking class with incredible truffle recipes and more. Pablo was super knowledgeable, really friendly and patient with our somewhat novice cooking skills :) Would definitely return for another cooking class. Thanks Alessandro for helping us with all of our arrangements too!

Delicious Toscany cooking class
When visiting Toscany it is necessary to enjoy the delicious Italian food. What could be better than learning making this food yourself. Alessandro proved himself to be an expert and learned us the fine Italian kitchen. We will certainly re-enjoy the recipes we made in his tiny -but comfortable- kitchen. Thanks again for making our stay unforgettable and we hope to meet again!
